Abstract

This research, using a descriptive-analytical method and a linguistic approach, analyzes vocabulary, syntactic structures, semantic networks, and rhetorical imagery in the poetry of the Palestinian poet Kamal Nasser. The main goal of the research is to examine the role of language in representing the Palestinian experience and shaping the meaning of resistance and protest discourse in the poet's poetry. In this regard, examples of Nasser's poetry have been analyzed from perspectives. The findings show that Nasser uses language as a discursive mechanism and, by relying on syntactic structures, meaningful words, and rhetorical imagery, strengthens its emotional and awareness-raising function. Rhetorical devices such as metaphors create a semantic network of historical oppression, injustice, and hope. In addition, syntactic-stylistic analysis shows that the repetition and music of language, along with semantic networks, reinforce the message of resistance, and by using language, the poet transforms the socio-political experience of Palestine into an aesthetic experience and uses language as a tool of resistance.
