The Emotional and Literary Role of Words in Rudaki's Lyrical Odes Based on Jakobson's Communication Theory

Abstract

This study analyzes the emotional and literary roles of language in Ghanaei Rudaki on the basis of Roman Yakubsen's communication theory.In his communication model,Jacobson plays six roles for the language that are of particular importance in the two emotional or poetic roles in Mattuni analysis.This study, in a descriptive-analytical way, examines Rudaki's verses, showing that he uses rhetorical elements suchas simile, metaphor and diagnosis,human emotions such as happiness, sorrow, love,regret andhope withliving and natural images.From a literary point of view, the poet uses musical structures, linguistic arrays andimages to convey his message moreeffectively to the audience.Also, the attribute of human attributes tothe elements of nature andthe emphasis on the instantaneousness and the passage of life are the components that have beenreflected in his poems.The findings show that Rudaki,by mixing thetwo emotional and literary roles in the structure of thelam, has succeeded in creating a poetic and human experience that at the same time has a rich emotional and aesthetic burden.
